Beautiful, waterfront house on Greenwood Lake with a private dock and 7-person hot tub. Situated in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walk (1/4 mile) to downtown. Enjoy dinner on the patio, steaks on the grill, and s'mores by the fire pit. A short drive (5 minutes) to the town beach. Very comfortable, bright, and clean. A perfect place to enjoy Greenwood Lake and the surrounding Hudson Valley area. Nearby hiking, apple picking, and skiing. Fully renovated with top-of-the-line appliances.
The space
Wake up to lake views and fall asleep to lake sunsets. The house has a master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The master bath has a large Jacuzzi tub that comfortably fits two, as well as a standing shower.
Stay connected with 500mb internet and three TP-Link Deco Mesh Wifi systems throughout the house.
Two additional bedrooms are located down the hall, with queen beds and lake views. Every bedroom has a luggage rack and laundry hamper for your convenience, as well as closets with hangers. The bedside lamps are all touch-activated, and all thermostats in the house are Nest thermostats so you can easily adjust the temperature. All bedroom have two types of pillows - memory form pillows and plush pillows - so you can sleep most comfortably.
The washer and dryer are located upstairs with laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your convenience.
In the living room, you'll find two couches with reclining seats. Three people fit on each couch. There is also a 55-inch, Ultra-HD TV so you can stream your favorites shows. And if you prefer to unplug, there are plenty of bestselling books and games in the living room for your entertainment. You'll also find a desk and work station with lake views, so you can work from home while relaxing at the lake.
The kitchen comes complete with a large, stainless steel, double-door fridge with a water and ice dispenser. There is also a three-level pantry to store your dry goods. The kitchen has a spice rack with 20 different spices, dishwasher, 12-piece stainless steel pots and pans, cooking sprays and oils, cooking and eating utensils, and dishware. A Cuisine Art dual-coffee maker allows you to make a single cup of coffee (k-cups provided) or a carafe of coffee (coffee grounds provided).
A six-person dining table with cloth placements is located right outside the expansive kitchen, nearby the wine hutch. Remote-controlled curtains allow you to seamlessly lower and raise the curtains, providing beautiful views in the morning.
Outside, you'll find a patio with a four-person dining table right off the kitchen, with stairs leading down to a stainless steel grill. Adirondack chairs are stored in the basement so you can sit around the outdoor fire pit and enjoy the lake views.

Note: There is a bridge between our section of the lake and the main lake. Larger boats and boats with unretractable bimini tops will not be able to gain access to main lake, but most pontoons and other small boats can. The bridge is approximately 5ft high.

Summary: Everyone loved our stay. The hot tub was even better than expected with the unexpected freezing temp and snow in April. House was clean and lake views were awesome. Plenty of space for families to spread out. We really enjoyed coming back to the warm and inviting space after our time at Legoland.

Summary: Family time, hiking, visiting and touring the area. Views are great - saw a bald eagle on day 1! The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner has thought out all the details - extra toilet paper to spices! Nicely appointed home. Greenwood Lake is a nice area to relax.

Summary: The house was very clean and beautiful inside. Beds were incredibly comfortable, short distance to town and skiing at Mt Peter which was the reason for our visit. Spa was clean although we didn’t use it because there was a snow storm. Overall great visit!

Summary: My family and I were so happy when we arrived at the house. It was everything as promised in the listing and more. It is by far the cleanest VRBO I have ever rented and it’s tastefully decorated, and the owner has thought of everything that you would possibly need for your stay. Plus, we had the added bonus of being there when snow had fallen and it was just magical. Anytime my family comes back to Greenwood Lake, we will definitely rent this property if it’s available. But anyone will enjoy it and there’s plenty of room and the accommodations are very comfortable. The view is lovely.

Summary: The house on the lake is very clean with modern appliances, even an electric tea pot that heated up so quickly. We enjoyed walking to Greenwood Lake Roasters and down to the Italian Bakery and Restaurant for fresh bagels. We enjoyed seagulls and Canadian geese every morning in the lake. A short drive takes you to Emerald Point Restaurant, so friendly and food so delicious We are there twice. Everything was perfect.

Summary: This place exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully decorated, and so cozy to relax after a day of exploring the lake and farm stands. Great location near Warwick. We stopped at the GWL Ice Cream Shack every day for Pumpkin ice cream--amazing! It was just 2 of us and having our own bedrooms and bathrooms was such a nice plus vs staying in a hotel, but truly would be very comfortable for 3 couples to enjoy. We loved sitting on the deck each afternoon and admiring the lake view after a nice day taking in the sights. The house had sweet little fall decor subtly placed around it, and even sweeter GWL decor that made us go on a treasure hunt to try to find some for ourselves! It's been a long time since we got to visit our childhood summers' home, and this place made the visit probably the best trip we ever took together. You actually can go home again!
